Cpanel email setups

After your hosting ordered, you will receive Your email hosting plan has been prepared email with cpanel log in details.

Set up your email procedures:

  1. log in to cpanel
  2. Click email account
  3. set up your email you want and password, e.g info@yourdomain.com.au etc.

Email set up on your local computer

To set up your email on your local computer, you need to have email client softwares, e.g Outlook Express, Office Outlook or Mozila Thunderbird.

  1. Outlook Express is old;
  2. For Office Outlook, you need MS Office installed in your computer;
  3. Mozilla Thunderbird is free and easy to use, to download click here: Mozilla Thunderbird.

POP email set up

To collect email sent to your new POP email accounts you can use the following server details in your favourite mail client (e.g. Microsoft Outlook) :

Incoming Mail Server: pop.example.com.au
Outgoing Mail Server: Supplied by your ISP

Incoming server username is the full email address, ie yourname@pinnacleblinds.com.au, and the password that was specified when initially setting up the account.

Outgoing server user name and password are supplied by your ISP, you need to read ISP internet connection document.

Webmail

Alternatively, you can read and reply to your email via a web-based mail service (WebMail). Simply log in to http://webmail.example.com.au, using your new email address as your user name, and the password that you specified during the set-up procedure.
